DropFire Print Head Assembly – Qidi X Max 3

Description

The DropFire print head provides the ability for high speed printing and excellent cooling, with a futuristic look. With the Rapido hotend, you get better layer adhesion and can print high temp materials with ease.

The DropFire head regains some of the X and Y travel you lose with the SpitFire head on the Qidi X Max 3 but increases the Z loss.

• Parts are printed out of quality ABS material
• Rapido HF/UHF hotend, 24V, version 1, 2 or ACE (TriangleLabs) – (sold separately)
• Orbiter v2.0 extruder – (sold separately)
• Up to 350°C printing temp
• Up to 75mm³/s flow rate
• 4020 turbo blower part cooling fan 24V
• 3010 hotend fan 24V
• Integrated filament cutter for use with multi-material systems
• Printing Materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, PC, Abrasive Filaments
• Optional Remote Cooling System with 120mm blower for improved cooling
• Designed to only use the Beacon/Cartographer probe
• Can only be used with an ebb42 CAN bus or with standard wiring

***NOTE: The Rapido hotend and Orbiter V2.0 (standard version only) extruder need to be purchased separately!!!

***This print head will only work with the EBB42 canbus board (SOLD SEPARATELY) or with direct wiring to the main board. The stock main board will need to be replaced also.

***Only the Beacon/Cartographer probe will fit on this head.

***Minor wiring and connectors will need to be performed when installing this print head.
